This adorable set of 5 elephants originated in Thailand, allegedly used as counterweights for weighing opium! As objects, they simply delight. Substantial metal (we could not determine exactly what metal) with a great heft in the hand.

The elephants range in size from 3/4 inches up to 2 inches in length.
