Turned by hand from Acacia wood sourced in Oakland, CA, this unique bowl is created by the artist, John Cobb. John makes incredible pieces from wood found in local arborist's wood piles. The wood has a beautiful grain pattern, with blonde sections against rich brown areas at the center. A great California memento.

Salad or presentation bowl, beautiful to look at and hold. Perfect for salad or fruit. Will also hold jewelry, or keys. Top edge with a rim width of just 1/4 of an inch. Oil occasionally with food-grade mineral oil. Do not let the bowl soak or remain in water.

A delightfully fluid oval shape measures 9 1/2 inches long X 8 1/4 inches wide,  1 1/2 to 3 inches deep. Signed by the artist.
