Forged: Hand-Forged Paring Knife
Handcrafted by the oldest blacksmith shop in South Korea, this paring knife is a highly functional work of art. Though small, it is one of the sharper knives, and the most difficult to make. Made from the same carbon-steel as railroad tracks, which is rich in manganese and very, very durable. The wood handle is shade-dried chestnut that is lightweight, water resistant and very stable.
Perfect for zesting, de-veining shrimp, peeling fruit, any task that requires tight cutting.
2 3/4 inch blade, 4 5/8 inch handle, 7 3/8 inches overall
- No need to sharpen before 2-3 years of regular use
- Sharpen by hand, using a honing stone
- Avoid use on hard surfaces
- Wipe clean with soft cloth or use water only
- Clean and dry thoroughly to prevent rust
- To store, dry and lightly oil the blade
