Rude Osolnik (1915–2001) was widely admired as one of the finest wood turners in America. His bowls are collector's items and his pieces are in the permanent collections of the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Atlanta's High Museum, the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, The Yale Museum, The Mayo Clinic, other fine institutions. 

The Gardener is pleased to offer an Osolnik Original vessel, turned from a maple wood burl, signed on base, dated 1985.

Wood turners know, the expertise required to turn a fine piece such as this is rare indeed.
